Cash register

A standard ETC cash register configuration consists of ETC software together with the most appropriate hardware. The ETC software makes use of ETC’s patented DINO technology (Distributed Integrated Network Objects Technology) and is by far the most versatile and user-friendly software of its kind. The ETC software includes as standard a complete cash register including table management and order functions as well as a complete management program for generating reports and entering settings. The cash register hardware consists of a PC, touch screen, TAG card reader and a printer (bar / ticket / kitchen printer). The hardware configuration can range from a basic configuration with 1 POS cash register in a small business to a more extensive configuration with a network of cash registers, possibly supplemented with handheld units in larger establishments. The configuration with a network of cash registers can also include several establishments in different locations, possibly consisting of several profit centres and/or eco-zones. In such a configuration, all cash registers are linked to one centre and interconnected via the Internet.
